The Factory of Salami Igloomeat-Sokołów Sp. z o.o. was founded following the reorganization of the former DZPS Igloopol in 1994 basing on the machinery and knowledge originating from the long year tradition which has its roots in 1950s. At first it assumed the name Factory of Sausages and Preserves Igloomeat, and after four years, from the moment the main shareholder changed, the company assumed its present name – Factory of Salami Igloomeat - Sokołów Sp. z o.o. in Dębica. Currently, we belong to the largest and most dynamic capital Group of the Polish meat industry, SOKOŁÓW S.A.
We specialize in production of salami. We are forerunner and at the same time the largest manufacturer of this product in Poland. Our market share in salami sale is currently about 40%. Sustenance of this high position is a result of cooperation with the customers all over the country and is mutually profitable. We manufacture our products to the great extent using the technologies free from any additives and preservatives.
The raw materials that we use for our products we obtain exclusively from the companies of the group (all they have the EU’s certificates) which, like our company, are under the constant supervision of the Veterinary Inspection. Specific taste of this type of sausage is achieved by using the highest in the world quality of bacteria cultures and also due to addition of natural condiments during the long, four weeks lasting production process in specialized maturing and curing chambers. It is a product of highest degree of difficulty and requires most advanced technology of production.
The presence of our product on the shop shelves is noticeable in majority of hyper and supermarkets and also in the wholesale network. Vast selection of hard salami, diversified with regard to tastes, raw materials used and types of taste coverings allows to satisfy most of gourmands of this product. Highly qualified technological personnel constantly try to develop new technologies aiming at manufacturing of products of still higher quality.
