High quality of our products is a priority for us and therefore the internal quality control within the company is performed by special Quality Assurance Department and the Laboratory. All processes connected with purchase of raw materials, production and sales are included in the control.
All products for the market meet the requirements of the regulations in force relating to the food safety and are transferred to customers in compliance with the standard ISO 22000: 2005 „Food Safety Management Systems. Requirements for every organization involved in food chain.”
Our Company has the Quality Management System in compliance with the principles of the integrated quality management system according to the standard PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 and DN-3027 E-2002. The Food Safety Assurance System compliant with the rules of HACCP is implemented and has been functioning since 2002. All identified critical control points (CCP) are included into monitoring. It is verified in predefined periods. The Quality Management System undergoes to constant improvement following the carried out analysis of the processes.
Manufacturing of our products is based to the great extent on the technologies which do not use any supportive chemical agents and preservatives, and the raw materials used we obtain exclusively from the works which are members of the SOKOŁÓW GROUP S.A. (the owner of the EU’s certificates) which are, like our company, under constant supervision of the Veterinary Inspection. All our activities aim at offering you the products of highest quality and to guarantee that Salami from Dębica is a product which is really worth buying.
Food Safety Systems
The Factory of Salami Igloomeat-Sokołów Sp. z o.o. has the implemented and certified international systems of food safety management, according to:
- IFS - International Food Standard which means we meet the requirements of the trade networks to the extent of having the objective proof of compliance with the rules of food safety relating to our products that are delivered under our own brand name to the trade networks, mainly German and French ones.
- BRC Global Standard Food – international food standard developed for the first time by the British Retail Consortium – the organization that associates the trade networks in Great Britain.
The international food safety standards are used as a criterion of selection of suppliers by the trade networks with foreign capital.
